People expect some crazy romantic fairy tale from us, but really, we met at work on April 2010. He was a restaurant General Manager; I had just joined as a Hostess. We only said “hi” to each other and focused on our work. Over the course of the next three years, we developed a really good friendship, and it wasn’t until 2013 that Ulice hinted at the next level. After several months, I finally accepted the invitation, and our first date was at the movies. We discovered we had a lot in common. Fast forward: our friendship evolved into something more magical, the first pages of a love story. On June 21, 2013, we had a romantic dinner, saw World War Z, and later that night, Ulice asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes. As time progressed, I slowly began falling in love. Our love has grown immensely and so strong!
On the day of my college graduation party, when “Hecha Para Mi” by Prince Royce came on, Ulice invited me to dance. When the music suddenly died down, he turned me around one last time, and I looked over: he was down on one knee. I was shocked. I took a moment to process what was really happening. Tears were pouring down and I said “YES”!
We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our love story, our marriage.
