Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

From most Center City hotels east of Broad Street, we suggest walking to the ceremony. If you’d rather drive, there’s a paid parking garage with elevators beneath the ceremony location: the Autopark at Independence Mall, 41 North 6th Street. If possible, we suggest taking a cab/Uber/Lyft to the reception venue. Otherwise, parking is available near Love City Brewing along the street or in our preferred lot (three blocks from the brewery). Our preferred lot is Patriot Parking at 1201 Callowhill Street (enter this address into GPS: 411-19 N 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123). When you park, take a ticket, and then, at the end of the reception, we'll pass out validation tickets for you to present when you return to your car. Free and metered street parking can be found surrounding the brewery or reliably two blocks north on Spring Garden Street. As a general note throughout the city, parking is typically easier to find on Sundays and is commonly free. As always, please assign a designated driver or arrange for alternative transportation home if you choose to drink.

Do you have suggestions of how to spend the hours between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We sure do! Be sure to check out the Exploring Philly tab of our website for lots of ideas! This time might also be convenient to check into your hotel, if needed. If we *had* to plan an itinerary, though, we'd get 2pm timed tickets to tour Independence Hall, view the Liberty Bell, and then grab a drink at Love City Gardens, our reception venue's beer garden (located across the street from the brewery).

Yes, we are registered through Target and here on Zola on the Registry tab.

I really want to get you a gift outside of the registry; is that okay?

Answer

Sure! We only ask that you keep in mind that space is at a premium in our urban home, and, therefore, we don’t have much room for large items.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please reach out to Tyler or Leah ASAP, and we’ll let our caterer know.

What COVID-19 protocols are being followed?

Answer

Our venue (Love City Brewing) requires all indoor dining guests to be fully vaccinated. We are kindly requesting that all guests email a photo of your vaccination card to leahdchristians@gmail.com or upload your email address to your guest record, which you can do here: https://www.zola.com/addr/RXxGpvrlk **We highly encourage self-testing for COVID-19 prior to attending our wedding.** Additionally, we know that COVID-19 transmission is lower in outdoor spaces than indoors. To that end, weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors at the Liberty View Terrace. Our reception space, Love City Brewing, has large garage doors that open on the front of the building, although the reception is a mostly indoors event. All staff must be vaccinated or masked. Of course, as public health guidance and local requirements continue to evolve, so will our wedding details. All updates will be reflected on this site.

If you're writing to us, feel free to use our individual last names, as Leah will retain the Christians surname following the wedding.
