We recommend booking flights to Cape Town International 10–12 months in advance for the best fares. Please note that some airlines may add fuel surcharges closer to the time. Cape Town International Airport is: • 45 minutes from Franschhoek (wedding location) • 30 minutes from Stellenbosch (zu vino sag ich nie no) • 20 minutes from Cape Town CBD (the famous Waterfront)
Travel Note
We’ve provisionally reserved on-site accommodation at La Cotte Farm from 22–24 April 2027 so most guests can book to stay on the property with us. If the farm books out, there's many beautiful places near by and we'll help you find what works for you. If you’d like to stay on the farm, please let us know in your RSVP and we’ll coordinate with you directly.
Travel Note
Hiring a car is the best way to get around – public transport is not recommended due to safety and reliability. Most major car rental companies have pick-up and drop-off locations at Cape Town International Airport. Uber is widely used and works well in the Cape Town area, however availability is limited to daytime hours in the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch areas. If you'd like help with car rental or a pre-arranged transfer, just let us know.
