Unfortunately no, we will not be providing any form of shuttle service or transportation for the wedding. If you do decide to drive, there is plenty of parking available at the venue and you can leave your car there overnight if you are unable to drive later that evening. Please utilize Lyft, Uber, or a Taxi service if you are deciding to drink and party with us, we want everyone to get home safely!
Absolutely! We will have an open bar service. Please make prior arrangements if you are deciding to drink. There will be non-alcoholic beverage options available as well.
Please notify our Wedding Planner, Brittany as soon as possible if you have a severe food allergy and have concerns. Her email is loveinminddesigns@gmail.com. Please be aware that we will have a buffet style dinner and our menu will consist of meat, seafood, and vegetable options. Depending on your food allergy we can most likely request a custom meal for you but no dietary meal requests will be available.
The welcome party is the kick off to the weekend and getting to spend a little time with us before the big day! We know many are traveling to come to our wedding so we want to make sure we get to visit with everyone, catch up and celebrate with each and every one of you. It will be a mix and mingle on the patio deck of the Anchor restaurant overlooking the water, casual attire. We will provide light appetizers and all beverages will be self pay.
We were graciously blessed by the home owners to be able to have our wedding on their beautiful property. Please be mindful this is a private residence and many areas of the home will be off limits. We ask that you respect their home and property while visiting.
The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal, cocktail hour attire. Please no jeans, tennis shoes, or active wear. We will be next to the water and it may get chilly later in the evening.
We understand last minute changes happen and if you are no longer able to attend please email our Wedding Planner, Brittany and notify her and everyone in your party who will not be attending. You are welcome to contact Tyler and I to let us know you are no longer able to attend and we will adjust your RSVP response.
We please ask that you respect our RSVP deadline date for many reasons. Our vendors require final counts at a certain point so they can prepare and we are financially responsible for each person and the services. We have given adequate time for everyone to make planning arrangements to attend and we kindly ask that you respond by the date listed on our invitation. We will not accept or consider new RSVP's two weeks out to the wedding as final counts, layouts and plans are set and are costly to be changed.
Even though we love the little ones this is an adult affair. We ask that you make prior arrangements and join us for a night kids free and lots of dancing and fun!
Ceremony seating will be open and available starting at 3:30pm, we ask that you do not arrive any earlier than 3:15pm due to venue set up. We also ask that you arrive on time and be seated before the ceremony starts at 4:00pm.
The wedding ends at midnight and you are welcome to depart at any time before then.
The reception is planned to start at 6:00pm with dinner being served shortly after. There will be appetizers served during cocktail hour.
No there is not, Covington has a wide range of hotel options and we recommended different ones to fit any travel budget. We will be staying at the Southern Hotel and highly recommend it but do not require any of our guests to stay there while visiting.
We will be having an "Unplugged Ceremony", which means we ask that you put your cell phones away during the ceremony and be in the moment with us. We have hired an amazing photographer who will be capturing every minute and we will share the photos with you afterwards. Please snap away at the reception!
We are just excited that you are able to join us on our special day and lovingly accept any form of wedding gift you decide to gift us. We have a wedding registry tab that has our wedding wishes listed, gifts can be shipped to our home for easier receiving.
