Opal Thompson
Bride
Opal is the daughter of Martin Thompson. She grew up in Punxsutawney, PA and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May of 2022. She is currently the Choir Director at Everett Area Middle/High School. In this position, she directs various choirs for grades 6-12, teaches general music, directs rock band, and is the drama & vocal director for the school musical. Outside of her career, Opal enjoys singing by herself and with the Pennsylvania Summer Choral Society, playing piano and flute, writing music, playing a few different RPGs, and spending time with friends & family.
Tyler Roland
Groom
Tyler is the son of David and Christine Roland. He grew up in Alexandria, PA and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May of 2022. He is currently the Director of Bands at Juanita Valley High School. In this position, he directs 6-12 concert band, provides instrumental lessons, teaches general music, and directs the marching band and jazz bands. Outside of his career, he enjoys playing in various ensembles and chamber groups.
