Flight

Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)

Pearson is the largest airport near us with the most flight options. There are not a ton of transit options for getting from Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, so your best bet might be to rent a car if you're flying in here.

Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF)

Kitchener-Waterloo airport is the closest airport to us - a 15 minute uber to anywhere. You can fly Air Canada now "directly" to YKF - but what they mean by that is you would select your city > Kitchener-Waterloo on Air Canada's site, but you'll fly into Toronto Pearson and they will bus you to KW. The buses are nice. I've done it, it's fine. If you value actually making it here we strongly recommend you DO NOT fly Flair. The odds are not in your favour there pals.

Fliix Bus

Fliix Bus is your best bet for getting from Pearson to KW without renting a car. There's a bus that leaves roughly every two-three hours and it drops you off at Sportsworld, which is an easy place to catch an uber from to wherever you're staying.

These are the best options for staying in Galt outside of Airbnb. Clean, walkable, lots of parking. You can't go wrong.

The sensible option - a five minute stumble from Grand Trunk. Has plenty of parking, also.

If you're feeling a little YOLO, can be more of a splurge option, but is only a few doors down from The Grand Trunk.
