FAQs

The Wedding Website of Marci Geisler and Tyler Montague March
Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! We're doing things a little un-traditional, so feel free to bring your whole vibe, just make it somewhat fancy.

Question

Can I make a speech?

Answer

Yes! Into an old school rotary phone that will record your message for us to listen to after the wedding. We're using this as our audio guestbook - so you can plan ahead and think about what you want to say or just leave us an impromptu message after the beep.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless we've made specific arrangements with you, sadly no, you can't. We just don't have the space at dinner - it's a tight fit! Enjoy a kid free night/weekend and find your fave sitter.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

Check out our travel page - we wrote out all your options!

Question

I can't eat (insert allergy/preference here) - will I have options?

Answer

Yep - include that in your RSVP please! We gotchu.

Question

Where do I stay? Kitchener or Cambridge?

Answer

Up to you! Kitchener is more happening and if you're staying downtown you'll have more options for transit and things to do. There's a light rail train that will take you all the way to the mall. You can probably get away with not renting a car if you stay in downtown Kitchener. Cambridge is where we live and it's very beautiful, but it's definitely sleepier. Cambridge was three distinct towns that became one - Galt, Preston, and Hespeler. Preston is closest to Kitchener, Hespeler is closest to the main highway, and Galt is the furthest from both of these things, but is the defacto "main downtown" of the three. We live in Galt. If you want to be car free we recommend staying downtown Galt either at an Airbnb or at the Laundry Rooms. That way you'll be able to walk to most things and take uber's just for the wedding part, specifically. If you're staying in Preston or Hespeler, you're going to want a car.
