Fairhaven

Take a stroll along the waterfront, shop downtown or enjoy great beer and food at one of Bellingham’s famous micro breweries. Make sure to check out Bellingham’s website for a wealth of information about our city and on things to do.

Bellingham Farmers Market

This Saturday farmer’s market is located at the corner of Railroad Avenue and E. Maple St. It is open from April through Christmas from 10am - 3pm. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk there from Fairhaven in about 45 minutes along the South Bay Trail that starts right next to our Inn, or you can rent a bike from Fairhaven Bicycle and get there in about 15 minutes.

Bellingham Breweries

Love beer? Bellingham has a reputation for excellent craft beers and micro breweries, from Boundary Bay Brewery, Kulshan Brewing Company to Aslan Brewing and many more. Ask our staff for recommendations that will please your beer palette or check out the list below which has some great reviews.

Chuckanut Drive

Washington 11, Bow, WA 98232

Whether you're driving from Seattle Airport, or you are looking for a scenic drive, only a few miles south of Bellingham is Washington's most famous scenic route: Chuckanut Drive. A winding road above the rugged coastline of Puget Sound yields stunning views of the San Juan Islands with plenty of roadside areas to enjoy a picnic. Explore the tidal pools and watch the sunset from the saltwater shores of Larrabee State Park, a 10 minute drive from Bellingham or the Oyster Bar for fresh oysters. From Seattle, exit 231 takes you off of I-5 to the perfect drive into Bellingham. A must-see coming from the Seattle airport into Bellingham, one of our favorite drives.

Mt. Baker

Mount Baker Highway, Deming, WA 98244

About 1.5 hours east of Bellingham, just up Highway 542 is majestic Mt. Baker. Artist Point, the end of Highway 542, you will find endless hiking, and sweeping views from the parking lot. This is a favorite spot of ours, whether we are looking for a nice drive or a beautiful hike, I hope everyone is able to visit one of our favorite spots in the Pacific Northwest.
