Some may say it was love at first site, some might suggest it was the perfect blind date, or, maybe it was just your typical Disney movie fairytale. Well, our story is a little different, it started with The Ohio State University, Smith Hall, 3rd floor. No we didn't fall in love right away, or become friends instantly. But, it was spring quarter of freshman year where our friendship began. Throughout the summer as our friendship grew, the weekends consisted of visiting Lauren's hometown. This began to feel like more to Lauren, but, after hearing the famous line, "we are too good of friends to date" it wasn't again until the beginning of sophomore year that we both decided we were going to give this relationship a title, making it official. I always say there is something about country music that makes people fall in love, well the day after seeing Zac Brown Band, Tyler popped the question asking Lauren to be his girlfriend. Three months later when the Buckeyes were going to the Rose Bowl so were we! It was a make it or break it kind of trip, that ending in us being closer than before and excited for what the next year would bring. Who knew at that time it wouldn't be our only road trip across the country. After three years together, a job offer brought the idea of Bellingham, Washington into the mix. Taking a leap of faith, we found ourselves back on the road to the west coast, only this time with more than a suitcase. On April 26th, as we stopped for lunch on our 26 mile bike ride, Tyler popped the question again, only this time asking Lauren to be his wife. These past eight years have been the best journey yet. Together we have experienced many miles on trails, vacations to new territories, and have found ourselves in a new city. Our lives wouldn't be the same without each other, and we are beyond excited to continue our story. We can't wait to share our special day, with special people, in a special place we call home.
