Don't forget your passport! And double check to make sure it's not expiring. While the Mexican government only requires your passport to be valid for the duration of your stay, some airlines enforce a 6-month validity rule. When do I need to RSVP by?

Due to the unique nature of our venue, we ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to secure a room on property. Rooms need to be paid in full through our travel concierge website by February 1st. What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

In late April, Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, experiences warm, pleasant weather with average highs around 88°F (31°C) and lows around 76°F (24°C). It is the end of the dry season, meaning sunny days with very little rainfall are common, and the humidity stays relatively low. So pack your swimsuits and sunscreen!

How much do I tip in mexico?

Answer

10% is recommended for good service at restaurants or for shuttles/taxis. We will collect tips for The Hacienda staff at the end of your stay. More info to follow on this!

Cash and currency

Answer

Most places in the area take credit card, and this will give you the best exchange rate. You can tip in US dollars. However, we recommend having some pesos with you for your stay. There are multiple ATMs in the area as well.

There are multiple filtered water machines around the homes to refill water bottles. The ice used for beverages is also filtered. We do not recommend drinking tap water from anywhere in the area just to be safe!

Can i take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony which means no photos! We have hired professional photographers to capture this time, so all guests can be fully present. However, we encourage you to snap all the photos in the days leading up to the wedding and after the ceremony!
