Maid of Honor
Mary and I have known each other since middle school, and we actually weren’t too fond of each other at that time, if you can believe that! Our friendship started during our freshman year at McKinney North HS, which was in 2009 (wow !?!). After playing together on the defensive line, Mary and I quickly began spending every second together and were inseparable. Throughout high school, you could find us with the other one on our hip. After graduating from high school, Mary went to Florida to play soccer for FIT (go panthers!) and I stayed in Dallas. Most would think that the distance would cause our friendship to drift, but in reality the distance has made us appreciate our friendship that much more! This girl is half of my heart and I couldn’t ask for a better best friend/sister.
Best Man
Tyler’s first best friend and middle brother! Jaret and Tyler have played sports together, squabbled and fought, shared their life, laughed, cried, yelled, but are friends through and through. Their relationship has grown over the years, and the two have become confidants and great supporters of one another. Tyler is thankful to have Jaret, who he knows he can share anything with. Tyler is very excited and appreciative to have J acting as his best man.
Bridesmaid
If you ever need someone to stand by your side through everything, look no further than Viona. She is the sweetest person I have ever met and is so generous, kind and supportive! I am so blessed that we became closer friends our senior year of high school and continued to grow our friendship through college! From football games to long night talks to brunching, I have the best time with this girl. Viona has been a rock for me through the years, and I cannot thank her enough for her unfailing friendship. I am blessed to have someone care about me as much as she does.
Groomsman
Like a large number of Tyler’s friend group, Tyler and Steven met through ultimate frisbee. Playing together their freshman year at UTD, Tyler and Steven soon realized that they shared a mutual love for both ultimate and Smash. Through participating in ultimate practices/games and watching Smash tournaments, Tyler and Steven built a strong friendship. Tyler will be living with both Steven and Ross this next year while Keirsyn is in College Station- good times are sure to be had!
Bridesmaid
Sierra and I met during our first year at UTDallas when we joined the same sorority. We became friends instantaneously and developed a loving, strong friendship over our undergraduate years. We have had the opportunity to travel to foreign countries together, have innumerable wine nights, and be each other’s best friend. Sierra has been such a great friend and source of support and strength over the past 4 years! I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful person in my life and in my bridal party!
Groomsman
Anupam and Tyler met before their freshman year at UT Dallas, as they were both selected as McDermott Scholars. Anupam and Tyler were paired as roommates their first year and enjoyed each other’s company so much that they continued the tradition of being roommates the next three years! Through living, studying, and eating at Masala Wok together, the two quickly became pals and developed a long lasting friendship!
Bridesmaid
Corinne is my (perfect!) sorority little. We met during sorority recruitment, and I was so thrilled when Corinne decided to join Alpha Gamma Delta! We immediately clicked and formed an unexplainable bond. Corinne has the sweetest heart and she’s one of those friends who makes you feel as if you’re the most important person in the entire world. I’m so excited to have her stand by my side!
Groomsman
Tyler and Ross met their first year at UT Dallas, as they both played for the men’s ultimate team. Tyler and Ross bonded over sports, music, and food, becoming fast friends. Tyler is most thankful to Ross for his friendship but is forever indebted to Ross for showing him Franklin’s BBQ. Tyler will be living with both Ross and Steven this next year while Keirsyn is in College Station- good times are sure to be had!
Bridesmaid
Sydney was the gift I received at 6 years old that I didn’t realize was a gift at first. I was the only child for so long, and I couldn’t imagine someone else in our family. But Syd was the perfect addition. She’s my beautiful, smart little sister. We may poke and prod, get under each other’s skin, and annoy each other more than anyone else, but it’s all out of love and we will always be there for one another. Can’t wait to have my little sister be by my side as I say “I do”.
Groomsman
Carson is Tyler’s youngest brother and the person he has a soft spot for. Tyler loves bragging on his little brother and is very proud of Carson’s football career. Tyler and Car can be found cuddling on the couch, playing fortnite, or throwing an ultimate disc; no matter what, they always have a great time together. Tyler is very happy to have both of his brothers be in the wedding party. (P.S.- I can’t wait to have 2 new brothers amazing as J and Car!)
