Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible using the link on this website. This will allow us to ensure there are enough rooms in hotel blocks and book a transport to and from the venue. The deadline to RSVP is June 6th, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as "no". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to limitations, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have received a plus one, they will be specially addressed as "Guest" on the Wedding Invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance.

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones - our wedding in exclusively for adults. The only children allowed are included in the wedding party.

When Should I Book My Lodging?

Answer

We are so appreciative of those willing to make the trek for our wedding. With it being a holiday weekend, we encourage all to book lodging ASAP. Please see the travel tab for lodging options and more detailed information.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail attire. For summertime in Michigan, we suggest knee to midi-length dresses, elegant separates or jumpsuits for the ladies. For the men - a suit, sport coat, or dress shirt and tie are welcome!

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30. Please plan to arrive between 5:00 and 5:15 to give your party plenty of time to find their seats. For those who are staying at the Gun Lake Casino Hotel or the Best Western, there will 2 shuttle runs to bring guests to the venue.

Is the Wedding Outside?

Answer

Yes, rain or shine - the ceremony will be located outside! Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and pack the necessary precautions. The indoor reception space will be located next to the ceremony with yard games and a bonfire pit to enjoy outside in the evening.

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present in the moment. We have a professional photography and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. A link to photos for all interested will be available approximately 60 days after the wedding. Other than the ceremony, yes please! Feel free to take as many photos & videos as you like. We welcome all the captured memories in the making.

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! Following the ceremony, the open bar will kick off for the night! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
