On June 5th, 2021, chance brought us both to downtown Philadelphia on what seemed like just another night out with friends. Holly’s group was meeting up with Tyler’s outside Paddy Whacks in South Philly, only to find the bar had already closed due to lingering COVID restrictions. As the groups united, Tyler introduced himself to Holly with a warm hug, and before long, everyone decided to head over to Morgan’s Pier. Under the string lights and by the water, we danced the night away to all the nostalgic early 2000s hits. The night didn’t end there. Afterward, we joined our friends for an after party, where Holly and Tyler found themselves deep in conversation on a rooftop for hours, talking like old friends who had just rediscovered each other. By sunrise, Tyler knew he had to see Holly again, so he asked if he could take her on a proper date. From that moment on, our story truly began.
