Enjoy local restaurants and shops in downtown Steamboat Springs. We love Mountain Tap Brewery, Mambo Italiano, Skull Creek Greek, and The Barley. E3 also has the best happy hour in the 'Boat! There is a wonderful walking path along the river with access to fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and parks.
The Steamboat Springs Ski Resort will be open with access to hiking, biking, and walking trails. And we highly recommend a trip up the gondola! Depending on your length of stay, there are sunset happy hours at Thunderhead Lodge that are a lot of fun.
There are also restaurants in the base area, one of our favorites is The Paramount for breakfast and lunch.
Here a little longer? We love going to Stagecoach Reservoir and Steamboat Lake State Park - the location of our elopement.
