Kansas City is known for their down to earth small midwest city atmosphere along with big city entertainment vibes. Whether you're on the Kansas or Missouri side, it's always a good time.
Joe's Kansas City BBQ
This is our favorite place. There are multiple locations, but this is a must. Make sure you add their seasoned fries and as far as the main menu goes, anything on the menu is superb.
Worlds of Fun Amusement and Water Park
This is one of the best in the country. They are having big celebrations July 4th as well if you want to take advantage of the Holiday. The water park is also currently open!
Union Station
Union Station is a historical landmark and has been re-purposed to offer several entertainment options, from breakout rooms to the science center.
Kansas City Zoo
This is a wonderful zoo and very reasonably priced.
