Tyler and Felicia both decided to go to a mutual friend's Superbowl party. Felicia and Tyler paid no attention to each other or to another patriots game, but when a friend of Felicia's (Jacob) asked if she wanted to join on a motorcycle ride with Michael (one of Felicia's closest friends), Felicia just couldn't resist. Tyler was surprised to see that Felicia decided to join the late night ride, which started at 9 pm and ended at 3 am, while Felicia was very impressed by Tyler's bike. Needless to say, as the night went on, Tyler and Felicia continued to observe each other from afar. Both parties noticed each other's boldness about their faith, their revelations from the Holy Spirit, and their passion for Jesus Christ. They didn't cross paths again until a couple weeks later at Tyler's family's bible study. The two continued to gravitate toward one another and learn more about each other's journey with God. Neither one of them could deny how many similarities they shared and how much admiration they began to develop for one another. Towards the end of February they decided unknowingly to each other to go to a christian conference located in Orlando, Florida. They traveled separately, without either one expecting to run into one another in a stadium filled with 20,000 people. But God had a perfect plan and both saw each other when they were separately searching for Steve Sipp (Felicia's pastor). After the conference happened they continued to run into each other during ministry outreaches. They decided to spend Monday together to explore what Orlando had to offer. From sunrise to sunset that day Tyler and Felicia realized, although keeping it a secret to themselves, that they were beginning to fall in love with one another. After returning to Kansas City, Tyler and Felicia met up three times alone that week to talk about their current ministry. Then Tyler left for Arizona where he prayed about Felicia's hand and her joining his ministry that would soon be global.
