What is happening with the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to host an in person ceremony for our family and bridal party. We are very sad we won’t be able to have everyone there, but due to covid, we are limited to who we can have in person with us. We have decided to host a virtual ceremony as well for everyone who could not be with us in person. Please join our invitation to our Facebook Group “Tyler and Emily Lamb Wedding” and we will be posting our Facebook live stream of the ceremony there. Please reach out if you didn’t get an invitation to the Facebook Group! We don’t want to miss anyone!

Why did you decide to host your wedding during covid?

Answer

Luckily, Tyler came home earlier than anticipated from his deployment. We believe that covid would have affected our wedding plans in April 2021, so since he came home, we decided to move the wedding up to January 2021 and have a family ceremony. We believe that the wedding is about the marriage and wanted this to be a small, intimate ceremony where the couple could focus on the importance of their marriage. We are taking steps to make sure it is a safe wedding for guests attending.

I’m bummed I can’t be there - will you be doing anything later in the year so I can celebrate with you?

Answer

Yes! Since we don’t know what is going to happen with covid, we are waiting to set a date on a fun, celebration reception where our friends and family can gather with us. We hope it can be later in the year or on our one year anniversary. We will send everyone details when we’re able to plan!

Question

I don’t have a Facebook - how can I watch the ceremony?

Answer

We can play back the Facebook video and send it to you after the ceremony. We also will have a videographer there so we can share his footage as well after the wedding.

Question

I can’t figure out how to join the Facebook Group or view the live stream.
