My grandfather (me, Cathryne, the bride) took me here every morning for breakfast from PreK until I graduated high school. It is a very special place with great food. Dont judge a book by its cover, this is a local favorite. The Coffee Shoppee is on John Sims Pkwy, a couple miles east of Eglin AFB. You cant miss it!
For you morning stroll folks! Turkey Creek Walk will take you several miles on a boardwalk through the woods, along the freshwater Turkey Creek. It is a beautiful place for a morning run or walk and surround yourself with nature.

It is a wonderful piece of military history in our area. You can take a walk outside to view dozens of retired aircrafts & read about their history. Once you’re done, fly into the hanger to see decades of Eglin AFB and Air Force history & artifacts! Admission is free!!!
This is definitely a place for the younger crowd! It is our area’s newest night life addition. Located in Fort Walton Beach, before the Brooks Bridge going to The Okaloosa Island.
Now this nightclub is for everyone (18+). The Block Is primarily a “country” club, complete with wooden dance floor for two steppin’ & an electronic bull for ridin’!! To the left of the main bar will take you into the karaoke bar, where you can spend the night serenading one another! If you are more of the hip-hop, strobe light person & your friends voted against Nxt Lvl, go up the stairs to the right of the DJ booth & dance floor (in the main bar). You will find a completely different atmosphere and crowd! Cover varies, usually $10-$20 for under 21 y/o.
