Maid of Honor
New to Dallas, and fresh out of 7th grade, Becca decided Emma would be her friend at a St. Monica volleyball camp. Emma has no memory of this, was creeped when she first heard this story, but has decided it has worked out in the long run. Since then, the girlies have traveled to Florida, New York City, and even hit Paris over the course of their 16 year friendship. Emma has been mistaken for a Schwarz sister too many times to count, and is considered an honorary member of the crew. Emma has also helped organize Becca's closet, inbox, and life in general on many, many occasions. She is the ultimate sounding board to help make all of life's big decisions and also the all-time best person to go to H-E-B with while hungry. Maid of Honor
Anna and Becca were first year roommates at the University of St Andrews in Scotland by sheer luck of the draw. After the first night together, it felt like they had known each other their entire lives, even though Anna worried Becca might be weird before meeting each other due to Becca asking about coordinating bedding. (Becca did NOT care about aesthetics, but felt like she should because the other American girls were doing it for American college.) Becca is the Mike Wazowski to Anna's Sully, and Anna has also been mistaken for a Schwarz sister a time or two, in spite of having a festive Scottish accent, which is apparently a requirement to be a Maid of Honor. Hannah S.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is Schwarz Sister #2 and has been in Becca's life for 26 years aka since she was born. Funny how that works. Becca and Hannah bonded over a mutual love of Groovy Girls, Polly Pockets (the kind with the stretchy clothes), and Barbies. Becca thanks Hannah, and the rest of the sisters on this list, for putting up with her bossy shenanigans, but Hannah most of all because she's had to live with it the longest. Hannah is a kick-butt occupational therapist, and is great with all animals, but suffers strongly from FOMO. Hannah provided the Schwarz Sisters with their first fur-nephew, Archibald. Likes: Gymnastics, Casa Navarro Margs Dislikes: People who chew gum too loudly in her vicinity, clothes with itchy tags.
Lauren B.
Bridesmaid
Lauren was Emma's roommate at that other school in Texas, so to make everything a fun analogy, Lauren is to Emma what Anna is to Becca. Becca got to know Lauren when visiting Emma in Austin, but they really became buds when they both lived in the D.C. area. Becca and Lauren bonded over their mutual love of musicals, baking, and consuming quality media, like She's the Man. In addition to exploring D.C. together, Becca and Lauren took one zany roadtrip to NYC to collect Emma, featuring a burst lung, and many, many showtunes (they are both Theater Kids). Sarah is Schwarz sister #3 and is the artist formerly known for being an absolute agent of chaos. Her reign of terror gradually came to an end, but for those who were at the Schwarz House during Becca's middle/ high school years, thank you for enduring 7:30 am renditions of Hannah Montana and involuntarily attending afternoon Living Room Theater. As the reigning Zillenial, Sarah is now the sister everyone consults for fashion, hair, and makeup advice, and for tips on being More Fun and Less Lame in general. Thank you for your service, Sarah. Leah S. aka LeeBee aka "Leah the Baby" is somehow, shockingly, no longer in fact a baby. She is a whole college girly, but don't worry, she is still 100% the son Karl never had. Leah has the sharpest wit, and sharpest tongue in the house, but will provide you with sports facts upon your request, after making a lot of fun of you for it. She is a good time, and an even better golfer. Leah likes to remind Becca that she disappeared to college for most of her formative years, but now Leah is the Colonel to Becca's General, and helps get Schwarzes places on time, as best as she can. Best Man
Noah is Tyler's oldest friend, and despite only getting to see one another 2-3x per year, their friendship is still as strong as a "burning rock". Despite arguably having more in common with Becca than Tyler (seriously, Tyler basically third-wheeled them when Becca and Noah first met and discussed their favorite books... those dorks), the two remain, to this day, absolute bros. Noah is the first brother Tyler never had (despite looking like the exact opposite of one another) and he, along with his wonderful wife, and co-theater kid Erin, has always been a trusted mind and ear to work through life's many challenges with. Best Man
After being Scott's Best Man at TWO weddings (both to his wonderful wife, Julie, shout out to COVID, lol), Tyler is happy that Scott is here to return the favor. Scott is the much taller older brother that Tyler never had, and is co-credited with being the one who set Becca and Tyler up while at Texas A&M (a fact Tyler didn't learn until the night before Scott's first wedding.) Scott is Tyler's #1 partner for videogames and a staunch supporter of all things BBQ or TexMex. If you're looking for Scott on the wedding day, he will likely be standing taller than the crowd, with a bourbon in hand, until Tyler, Becca, or Julie, pulls him out onto the dance floor. Tyler and Nic attended school together from 2006-2017 (save for a month or so when Nic thought going to "Engineering School" was a good idea.) The trio of Tyler, Nic, and his amazing wife, Megan, have been running around South Carolina for over a decade now and made plenty of memories. Among many things, Nic is credited with creating Tyler's fandom of English Premier League soccer, which has robbed Tyler of 2,500+ hours of sleep on Saturday mornings since 2014. Tyler had the pleasure of standing by Nic's side at his wedding May 2017, and is thrilled Nic is returning the favor nearly 7-years later! Tyler and Cory also met in College Station, TX, and lived down the road from one another. They immediately bonded over a shared love of baseball, and Tyler decided to look the other way at Cory's fandom of the Houston Astros. Two months after meeting, the Red Sox and Astros played each other in the MLB Playoffs, and Tyler and Cory made the trip to watch their teams do battle. In a close, very fun-to-watch battle... the Astros won 8-2, and Cory's restraing on gloating too hard showed Tyler how great a friend he would become. Now living in Washington, D.C., Cory and his wife Courtney are perrenial boardgame night hosts and make the best vegan food on the planet. Two Nic's. No K's. One Wedding Party. 100% Perfect. Tyler and Nic met on Facebook in 2017 after both committing to attend Texas A&M University (whoop!) for graduate school. After minimal conversation, the decision was made that to trust each other enough to live together - and the rest is history. Tyler and Nic lived together at A&M for 2-years and survived quite a lot: working in a newsroom, 18-inning baseball games, and getting nearly ranoff the road by a psychotic driver. It wasn't all stressful, though, as we both achieved one of our greatest dreams on the same day in 2018: meeting the estimeed First Lady of Aggieland, Reveille.
