Out of caution to keep everyone safe, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Wedding Celebration on August 23rd in Breckenridge, CO. When we first rescheduled from June to August, we figured we might have to wear masks, social distance, provide hand sanitizer, etc., but we never thought we would have to completely rethink our entire wedding vision & plans. We planned to make it officially official with a celebration in front of friends and family in August, but the pandemic had other plans. Current COVID guidance for Colorado gatherings is 50 people max counting all staff and vendors, and there is a chance of that number reducing to under 10 next week as cases rise. Further, as of a week ago, our venue decided it was cancelling all 2020 social events for safety. We were really bummed about the idea of having to limit our friends and family and wanted to celebrate with as much of our “village” as possible. That, coupled with the loss of our venue, led to our ultimate decision to postpone yet again. Our hearts are again breaking as we postpone once more! Thank you for riding this wave of joy and sadness with us as we have planned and re-planned our special day. We want everyone to be safe and healthy, and we hope to gather in celebration in the future. We love all of you dearly and wish the situation were different! We are happy to report that on our original wedding date June 6th, 2020, we had a sweet, intimate ceremony to make our marriage legal. In other news, we have been in the process of building our first home since March of this year, and officially have moved in as of last week!
