Matron of Honor
Madi and I have been friends for almost 7 years now and we were roommates for nearly 3 of those years. I can count on Madi to make me laugh, call me out, let me snuggle with her dog Zoee, and to recommend which essential oil to use in every situation. She loves swimming, going to the river, the local donut shop Donut Parade, cranberry La Croix, Nacho Libre and real talks.
Bridesmaid
Jules and I have been friends since the 6th grade! We can quote nearly every line in I, Robot because we've watched it together probably 100 times. She has been such a consistent friend in my life. Every time I go back to Massachusetts to visit we meet up at our favorite Irish bar, Fibber McGee's with any other friends that are also in town. She loves cats, music, occupational therapy, making art for people and most importantly the beach.
Bridesmaid
Lyndee is my roomie! We have lived together in the beautiful Perry District for almost two years now. One of our favorite things to do together is ride bikes, but Lyndee always takes it easy on me so I can keep up with her. She has been by my side rooting for Anthony and I's relationship since day one. She loves her cat Merriweather Lewis, long bike rides, mockumentaries, baking gluten free goodies, reading the local paper and long talks about local policy and how we can better serve Spokane's underserved populations.
Bridesman
Kyle is one of the friends I have known the longest in Spokane. We met in college back in 2011, both moving to Washington State from across the country. Kyle is such a loyal friend and it was a no-brainer to have him stand with me on my wedding day. Now, we work together! He is a beer connoisseur, a collector of old books, can answer any of my questions about fashion, can impersonate a Boston accent like a real Mass-hole, can make me laugh like none other, and is such a sweet friend.
Bridesmaid
Carmen and I met at Trader Joe's when we opened a new store together and have been friends ever since! I can always count on Carmen to watch any sporting event with me, go shoot hoops, road trip for pretty much any live music, laugh with me, cry with me, and just be freaking real. We live just a few blocks from each other right now and I don't ever want that to change. Carmen has been so supportive of Anthony and I throughout our whole relationship and I am so excited to have her stand behind me on my wedding day!
Best Man
Enrique and i met in Highschool. We carpooled everyday to and from school. We spent time at each others houses for family gatherings, parties, and more. often Enrique would stay up far past me falling asleep and he would spend time talking with my mom till the wee hours of the morning. He has always been a loyal friend and has supported me in all that I do. Since I told him about Tyler he has been one of our biggest fans. When Enrique heard that we were was throwing an engagement party he surprised Tyler and I and flew up from California for the weekend. Enrique has always been my confidant, my comic relief and he always around to give me an ego check. I know that he will support Tyler and I as we enter into marriage.
Best Man
Out of all of my Groomsman I have known Brad the Shortest. We met in 2015 when I started my job at Whitworth. I was drawn to him because he is the leader of Whitworth outdoor rec and the climbing wall. I wanted to get to know him a little better in hopes that we can adventure together. I never anticipated us quickly becoming best friends. We spend lots of time sleeping in cars together, suffering in the freezing cold, climbing, hiking, and as brad calls it "scouting" for all of his Whitworth outdoor rec trips. These trips have served as times for us to grow and get to know one another better. Early on in my relationship with Tyler brad saw something that i didn't. He encouraged me not to screw this one up and i sure am glad we had that talk.
Groomsman
Caleb and I met on day one at Whitworth in September of 2009 since then we have been through many ups and downs in life and our friendship. However throughout it all we have remained loyal and loving friends. One of my earliest memories of Caleb, he stole my entire living living room while I was away in Seattle. I came back to my Dorm room and found it empty. Caleb had taken my bean bag, TV, surround sound system and moved it into his room. We laughed about it and become instant best friends. All of those items stayed in his room the rest of the school year. We lived together for two years after moving out of the dorms.Caleb married the women of his dreams and best friend for life Mackenzi in Aug '16 I was proud to stand behind him then, and I am elated he will be standing behind me now.
Groomsman
Mike was my first friend I made when I moved to Palmdale. He lived up the block from me. Since then we have grown into some pretty cool humans. As kids we got ourselves into way to much trouble. From freezing underwear on snowboarding trips to bailing me out when i lost my keys in Montana Mike has always been a solid friend. I Know that i can call on this guy for anything even after losing touch and he will do his best to be there for me. He lives in Utah with his wife Sara and their newborn baby boy Oliver. Fun fact: Mike "taught" me how to Snowboard. Ask him about that.
Groomsman
Alan and I met towards the end of my time as a student at Whitworth. While attending WU I started cycling. Alan is known around campus as the guy that bikes A LOT. If I wanted to get better at cycling then I knew I would need to become friends with this guy. After Graduation, I bought a a very nice road bike with my graduation money. Alan and I have put down many miles together both on road and dirt since then . Those miles were not all about suffering at the hands of a 40 year old who is in way better shape then I am, they become a wonderful way for our friendship to grow. These rides have been everything from sufferfests, to race training to therapy sessions. I am grateful for each and every mile. Alan is always smiles and good spirits, in addition to that he is a hell of a cook.
