The St. Regis Aspen Resort

We recommend booking your room at The St. Regis Aspen as it is the host hotel, and all wedding day events will be located on the premises. We have negotiated a significantly discounted rate of $499/night for the property during our wedding weekend - the normal rate is $1K to 2K+/night outside of our room block. There are a limited number of rooms in our block so you will want to book early to confirm your reservation and lock in the discounted rate. If you would like to book additional nights, please first book online, then email Mark to ask him to extend your reservation. The hotel has agreed honor our discounted rate for 3 days before/after our wedding weekend. For our hotel guests, the St Regis will provide a complimentary car service for transportation to/from the Aspen (ASE) Airport and within the local Aspen area - you can also reserve one of their in house BMWs to drive yourself for a 4 hour time block. The hotel is a short walk away to a grocery store, ski rental shop, and many restaurants/bars. The hotel is also undergoing a complete renovation and will be brand new come December. The pictures on the St. Regis website are of the old rooms - the new ones are absolutely stunning!

Travel Note

Local Transportation

You will not need a car in the city of Aspen - everything in the town is walking distance and buses/shuttles are available to go to all 4 mountains in the Aspen/Snowmass Ski Area during the daytime. With that said, please keep in mind that rideshares (Uber, Lyft, etc.) can be quite unreliable. For our guests considering accommodations outside the downtown Aspen area, we highly encourage you to pre-book your transportation to attend any wedding festivities and also to factor in these costs in your decision. The local taxi company is High Mountain Taxi (970-925-8294).

Flight

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

ASE (Aspen/Pitkin County Airport) is a short 10 minute drive to the heart of downtown Aspen and all wedding festivities. It is by far the most direct option for flights; however, there are limited number of flights in/out on smaller planes, and airfare can often be more expensive compared to flying into DEN

Flight

Denver International Airport

DEN (Denver International Airport) is a major airport hub with a plethora of flight options on all domestic airlines. The airport is a 3-4 hour drive away from Aspen (220 miles from Aspen). If you are flying into DEN, you can either rent a car or book a shuttle service. Since you will not need a car in the city of Aspen, the shuttle can be an attractive option - particularly if you do not have experience with driving in snow/mountain conditions. A few shuttle options: - Roaring Fork Express (~$130/person each way in a shared shuttle) - Colorado Airport Express (private shuttles only, prices vary)

Flight

Other Regional Airports

Two additional regional airports to consider are: - Eagle County Airport (EGE) - 70 miles from Aspen - Grand Junction Airport (GJT) - 130 miles from Aspen Like ASE, these are smaller airports with limited flight options and likely higher fares than DEN. In certain cases, some of our guests may find these to be viable alternatives.
