We’re Getting Married!

Tyler and I met five years ago in January of 2016, where our story all began. From a mutual friend, we both became extremely close from the start of our high school careers and officially started dating in May of that year. The way I fell in love with him could only be described as a movie, in which it feels fantastical but is very much real. It’s fair to say that both of us knew from early on, we have met our soulmates. We share laughs, music, the love for Disney, Dunkin Donuts coffee, and endless love for each other. Enjoying numerous memories together was only the beginning as well as going through plenty of ups and downs that you endure throughout life, it did not interfere with what we have. In February of 2020, Tyler joined the United States Army, challenging himself to improve the overall quality of life for both of us. I will forever be grateful for that leap of faith he had made; being the living proof now of what we had always dreamt of, getting married to each other and begin to spend the rest of our lives together. Incredibly hard to be separated and encountering various twists and turns that followed, we have prevailed. On November 15, 2020 Tyler proposed to me at Willow Park, a sweet and peaceful location that welcomed geese to the intimate lake it neighbors. On top of the dock while the sun was setting beautifully this painted the perfect moment, Tyler got down on one knee and asked the question I have waited a lifetime for. Elated for this event, it feels magical to know the big day is near. - Natalia
