Giorgie Vining

Maid of Honor

Giorgie and I have been friends since our first day of college at Gardner-Webb University. Within the first two weeks at GWU, I knew that I had a found another kindred spirit in Giorgie. Through the years we have shared countless breakfast skillets, coffee dates, and deep heart to hearts. We have adventured around North Carolina, Florida, Chattanooga TN, and Columbus, Ohio with many more destinations to come. One of the best experiences thus far has been sharing the seasons of dating, engagement and marriage! Giorgie has been an amazing listener and advice giver throughout our whole friendship and it has been an enormous blessing to have that voice of wisdom in this season of life. I could not imagine a better person standing beside me as I marry the love of my life.

Kevin Napier

Best Man

When thinking of that one person, a "Best Man," who has always been there for me and will always be there for me, it didn't take me long to pick my Best Man. My Father, Kevin, has been there for me no matter what. Some of you may thinking, "well that's his job," and you are right it is, but it is more than that. The Man who taught me my first love. - Baseball - The Man who taught me how to throw a curveball. The Man who showed me what it means to be a hard worker. The Man who taught how to treat people with respect. The Man who showed me God's Love and encouraged me to surrender my Life to Him. This is The Man who taught me how to be a Man. This Man is not perfect. I take this Man for granted everyday. But not on my Wedding Day because Kevin Napier is the Best Man in my Life.

Reagan Schwartz

Bridesmaid

On January 24th, 2001, I got the best news ever… A NEW BABY SISTER! After a few years of the Taylor and Grant show, the Schwartz family added a third to the mix and boy were they in for a treat. Reagan is the best almost 17-year-old sister in the world. She is wise beyond her years, a great listener, and she will ALWAYS give you her honest opinion. I can tell what Reagan is thinking about a new outfit, a new dinner recipe, or a movie choice in about 2.5 sec flat. Her face says it all! I love spending time with Reagan, whether its embarrassing her in public or harmonizing in the car; Sister friends are the best friends. It has been such a blessing to watch Reagan grow into the amazing lady that she is. I am so honored to be her big sister and have her stand with me on my wedding day!

Jonathan Goldenberg (JOGO)

Groomsman

Oh Jogo! I met Jogo on the very first day of classes freshman year of college. Never the person I would have expected to be friends, but the person I needed to be friends with. Jogo is that person God places in your life so you learn to see things in a different lens. Jogo and I are very different people, however, it is in the differences of our lives you begin to see similarities. A mutual love for How I Met Your Mother, Credit songs from Lord of the Rings, Macklemore, Star Wars, Sports, Books, Sharing Stories, and the power of words brought us together but the brotherhood of life lived together is what binds us together forever. Jogo and I have shared more than 1,000 meals together and those who you eat with are your true family! Daniel would not have made it very far without Jogo.

Anna Schwartz

Bridesmaid

Anna Jordyn is my baby sister, but she is not so little now. Anna is just about to pass me in height (be sure to eyeball it at the wedding). Known to our family as, Anna J., AJ, AAA-JEE, AH-JA-ME-JAH-LA-BO-LA, Buggy or Goobie, Anna perfectly completes the Schwartz kids. She has all the best qualities of her three older siblings. She is athletic, musically gifted, fiercely competitive, and an awesome hugger. I love spending time with my Goobie! One of the hardest things for me about living so far away is that I miss sharing life with my sisters. It was just yesterday that this cute little 8-year-old dropped me off at my college dorm room and now next fall Anna will be in high school! I am so excited to share my wedding day with Anna; It would not be complete without her.

Grant Schwartz

Groomsman

Only growing up with an older sister it was always a dream of mine to have a younger brother. On May 12 that dream will come true! Grant, I promise I won't boss you around like most older brothers and I hope you are looking forward to having a brother as much as I am. Over this past year and half Grant and I have enjoyed getting to know each other better through playing golf together, going to sporting events, and sharing our dreams and goals for the life that is ahead. In the short time I've known Grant a few qualities of his I really appreciate are - his passion, his desire, and the loyalty he has for his friends and family. Looking forward to the future and all the time shared together Brother! Thanks for welcoming me into the family and standing by my side on our Big Day.

Hope Walker

Bridesmaid

I am so excited to welcome a third sister to the pack! Hope has been such a blessing to me in this wedding season. When it comes to anything wedding, Hope has a vast wealth of knowledge and is always willing to process things through with me. It will be quite the adjustment for me to no longer be the oldest sibling, but I am excited to learn from and grow with Hope in this new season of married life. I look forward to planning new couple adventures with Daniel & HL - forcing them to try new things! From cooking for holidays to raising our families, I am looking forward to sharing these sweet memories with my new sister.

HL Walker

Groomsman

HL is my Brother! I have Two Brothers now!!! Yes!!! HL and my relationship can be summed up in one phrase, "Ebony, Ivory, you and me in perfect Harmony." When my sister got married I always knew I'd gain a brother. What I didn't realize is that I was gaining another best friend and truly amazing man into the family. HL fits so perfectly into the Napier family it's like he has been apart of the family since birth #BigThree. I don't know what I would do without him. From us being able to riff off of one another to shazaming music in Nordstrom Rack because we just can't figure the artist all time we spend together is quality time.

April Niccolai

Bridesmaid

Fondly known as “Apes”, April has been one of my best college friends since the very beginning. Not only were we 200 back training partners for 4 years, but we were also epic road trip buddies. There is almost not a single college trip that I did without April’s faithful presence in the car. April even Mega-bussed to Columbus one summer (an 8 hour ride) to turn around and drive to North Carolina with me (another 8 hour ride). These long road trips were filled with the sweetest conversations, life talks, and car karaoke. One of my favorite things about April is her loyalty in friendship. You will find few people that care so deeply about their friends than April Niccolai. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a friend in April and I am so thankful that she is a part of my wedding party!

Jonathan Walker

Groomsman

Jonathan Walker is the friend you meet the very first day you set foot on a college campus. As soon as we sat next to each other in University 111, Jonathan and my friendship was automatically started. We were similar in so many ways and after a year of sharing classes and ChickFilA together we decided to become roommates and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Jonathan is a fiery tennis player whose passion for life, helping others, and most especially our shared Savior, Christ is so palpable. Whether its visiting San Francisco together, playing tennis in our dorm room, or hearing far more than I ever wanted to know as a junior in college about conceiving a child (Jonathan is a nurse) JW has always been there with me and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without him by my side!

Madison Dinsmore

Bridesmaid

Madi… Madi and I formed our friendship in the later years of our time at GWU. While always friendly, Madi and I became very close after spending the summer of our Senior year in Boiling Springs. One of my favorite memories with Madi was going to see a Lady Antebellum concert in Atlanta and singing every song at the top of our lungs! Our friendship is one of perfect balance (with a little extra drama). If you have not seen the movie Inside Out, this reference might be lost on you, but Madi is the sadness to my joy. Together we make nostalgia which is a necessary human emotion!!! In all seriousness, Madi has been a great friend to me. Even through long stretches of time apart, our friendship has continued to grow and I could not be more excited to have Madi as one of my bridesmaids.

T James Henderson

Groomsman

Terry James Henderson - what can you say about T James? T James might be the most real/raw person I have ever met. An unapologetic no nonsense man, who will just tell you how it really is. Everyone needs a T James in their life, because no matter how hard on you T James might seem to be he is only pushing you to be your best cause he truly cares for you like only a real friend can. (Ill never forget the time when we were running and he told me to quote, hurry up fat boy, end quote) In all seriousness T James and I became friends over the last two years of college and if it's playing disc golf together, getting my butt whooped in FIFA or just chilling and making dinner together time with T James is time well spent. Ladies last I checked T James is very single - plus he is a firefighter.

Kristina Nork

Bridesmaid

I cannot imagine college life without my “Baby Nork”. As the youngest member of the 2012 GWU recruiting class, it fell to “Mama Tay” to look out for one of my best friends. Nork has been there through all the highs and lows of college, and through the roller coaster ride of post-college life. I have been so thankful to have a friend in Nork, who is the perfect storm of fun and crazy. She always adds so much life to the party but is also a great source of advice. I have loved pushing Nork to do outdoorsy things, tolerating her music taste, and talking regularly on the phone. I do not know know what I will do when Nork changes her last name in June. My wedding day would not be the same without Nork in it and I am so excited to share this season of life with her.

James Mauney

Groomsman

James and my friendship started out like many of my friendships. We said hey to each other so much in passing that we decided to actually have a conversation and it turned into a great friendship. We've watched Bubba Watson win the Masters, watched Gardner-Webb defeat Clemson, took in a late night icy-road/snow day Waffle House trip together (Stephanie too) and went to Braves vs. Nats games. Ok so you picked up on the sports theme by now. There is something more to it than that though. James took time out of his life to perform the act of discipleship with me. He invited me to stand beside him on his wedding day and has allowed me to have a front row seat to the trials of life and joys found in Christ and in marriage. James has truly shared life with me and of that I'm eternally grateful.
