June in Michigan is typically in the 70-80's during the day. We should have great weather for our wedding but if it does decide to rain on us, an indoor ceremony space is available and the barn is beautiful for the indoor reception. If it gets chilly at night, there are patio heaters available, and we will be lighting a fire in the firepit!

Unfortunately, West Michigan is not the best for public transportation. Rental Cars or Ubers would be the best way to get from place to place. We have all major rental car companies in our area. Ubers are available to and from the venue!

Grand Rapids has a plenty of hotels available as well as a thriving airbnb selection. The closer you get to the lakeshore, you can find very fun airbnbs and boutique hotels in the coastal towns near Lake Michigan!

Our wedding is catered by Two Scott's BBQ from Grand Rapids. There will be pulled chicken and brisket with mini corn muffins, pimento mac and cheese, and smoked mushrooms (vegan) as well as a side salad.
