How Do I Get To The Ceremony?

Answer

You can put Exit 33 into your GPS and follow white road signs labeled Alexis & Tyler Wedding. You can follow these directions off of Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway at Slade, KY (Exit 33): Start by heading southeast on KY-11 towards Natural Bridge State Park (right off exit 33) You will follow KY-11 9 miles through Natural Bridge and then turn right onto Zachariah Loop (State Hwy 1036) You will stay on Hwy 1036 for 4-5 miles. This road is very curvy and you will feel like you are driving forever, but just keep cruising. You will pass Hollerwood off-road adventures on the right and continue driving until mile marker 2. You will see a guardrail on the left side of the road with a rock stack on it and then will see a gravel road that shoots straight up on the left side of the road with a sign that says Mountain Laurel. Take the gravel road and take and immediate sharp left for lots # 1-38 and keep on that road and follow signs /persons direction to park!

What Should I Wear?

UPDATE: Our reception is very casual, although the weather is constantly changing for what is forecasted it is expected to be very chilly please, please, bring extra clothes (i.e. winter coat, raincoat, boots, warm socks, hoodies, whatever needed to stay warm). Our ceremony and reception is outdoors/mountaintop. It is also a casual ceremony and we want you to hangout and have fun! Don’t worry about wearing your best dress and dress blues (unless that’s what you want :) All we ask is you dress for the weather so you can be comfortable. Being October and Kentucky, the weather is extremely unpredictable so make sure you dress accordingly. Ladies, it is all gravel and the last thing we want is for one of you to get hurt and some of those heels in your closet might get caught and end in a twisted ankle (party foul). Feel free to look nice for the ceremony if you’d like, bring a change of clothes to hangout, grab a drink, and roast some s’mores by the bonfire during our reception.

Where do I park?

Answer

We will have a shuttle taking people to the final wedding site. Once you follow signs and drive up the hill someone will be there to show you where to go for parking and to wait for the next shuttle.

When should I leave to get to the ceremony on time?

Answer

From Exit 108 (Man O'War Boulevard) off I-75 in Lexington: it will take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to get to the wedding site destination. From Exit 33 (Slade) off of Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway: it will take approximately 25 minutes to arrive at the wedding site destination.
