Being Kaylan’s oldest sister comes with the responsibility of watching over who she ends up with, and Sierra has filled this position with excellence, making sure the couple really are best for each other. Sierra shares a passion for art and reading with Kaylan and has even helped Ty join the family book club as well as shared many jokes together. Both sisters are some of the closest people in Kaylan’s life, so she couldn’t imagine having this day without them right by her side as they share the title of co-maids of honor. Her youngest, but first, baby is getting married! Raising three daughters just like her, the role model herself, Beatrice Owens is the wonderful mother of the bride. Kaylan has always looked up to her mom for advice in everything of life and considers her mom to be one of her truest friends. This is why she wants to honor her mother by having her in the group that supports her on this day and can’t wait to share these special moments together. Perhaps a glimpse into Ty’s future (sorry Kaylan), Jeff is Ty’s father. An avid ETSU basketball and football fan, Jeff can be seen at every single ETSU home game cheering on his son Maki. Even at football games. Even more, Jeff has been the best father that any young man could ask for; loving and caring for the entire family. The spark that made Ty love ETSU sports, history, and Banana pudding, Jeff has his place cemented in this Mount Rushmore. After meeting in an art class and playing 20 questions walking around campus, Olivia and Kaylan quickly found out how much they had in common and that they would be great friends. Olivia has been present for all of Ty and Kaylan’s relationship, always ready to talk through anything and support the friendship formed. Continuing their friendship past college years, Kaylan knows she can always count on Olivia for wholesome times and good laughs shared over coffee, food or a walk. Meeting through an upperclassman small group, Ty and Joe hit it off on the one thing that every good conversation does… football equipment. More specifically: ETSU football equipment. From that invitation, the two lovebirds really hit it off regarding football and the Bible. One who delights in dancing, reading, painting, playing and giggling through life; the cutest little girl around is the one and only Sadie Gray! This beautiful blessing is Ty’s niece and soon to be Kaylan’s as well. She will be continuing the role that she was able to be part of in previous years as flower girl. Having been Ty’s children’s minister growing up, no one could blame Justin at all for marrying Ty and Kaylan. Mostly it was Kaylan… he’s doing it because he likes Kaylan more. Nonetheless, an avid contributor and founder of the “Ed Norton Fan Club”, Justin is quite the role model for Ty. Incredibly out going and bold in the gospel, Justin is incredibly selfless and a fantastic father, preacher, and man. Also, that man loves some Bob Evans.
