Columbine Campground
Eva's favorite hiking spot. This hike follows a river and has beautiful wild flowers. 10/10 for playing hooky (from school).
Wildcat's Den
Classic place to ditch school, and to get a burger, fries, and a shake! (The cherry shake is the best).
Eagle Rock Lake
Very cute lake, picnic area, and short trails in Questa! Highly recommend for ditching.
Questa Farmers Market
Farmers market, local crafts and food. Unfortunately, can't play hooky here... Sundays only 10am-2pm.
John Dunn Bridge
Great place to hike, fish, ditch school, and bird watch inside the Rio Grande Canyon!
Arroyo Seco
A cute little town between Taos and Questa, right below the Taos Ski area, this place is ideal for ditching school.
Taos Farmers Market
Similar to Questa Farmers Market, but much bigger. Much better for ditching school. Open on Saturdays 8am in the Taos plaza!
Taos Ski Valley
Great outdoors area, even in the summer. Ride the lift up, or enjoy a German meal at the Bavarian! Great hiking here too!
Taos Mesa Brewing Taos Tap Room
Good food, good beer, fun vibe!

Mate, take your date to get a great plate late, make them your soulmate. It's fate. Was late to school because of this place.
Rio Grande Gorge Bridge
Big Bridge, Big Canyon, Very Pretty! Would not play hooky here.
Red River Fish Hatchery
Fun place to fish, go for a small hike, and learn about fish! Definitely ditch school here.
Red River Brewing Company & Distillery
Fun place to people watch and get a yummy drink! Great place to ditch school!
Red River Ski & Summer Area
Great place for a date with a view. Fun for the whole family!
Fort Union Drive In Movie Theatre

Meow Wolf Santa Fe's House of Eternal Return
Fun story, when Eva and Ty were roommates. Eva gave Ty tickets to one of their favorite bands: Cold War Kids. Ty still wears the sweater he bought from that concert. Good place for ditching school.
The Skillet
When living in Las Vegas, we ate here like once a week. The food and atmosphere are great! Everyone ditches school here.
Montezuma Hot Springs
Free Hot Springs near Las Vegas, NM! Ty volunteered here! 10/10 would play hooky here!
