10:00 am - 12:00 pm
It’s the Friday before the wedding, and we’re kicking things off ranch-style. Parents, siblings, the WPC, and their spouses are invited to a laid-back (definitely not formal) brunch at 12 Oaks Ranch. Cowboy saloon? Yes. Western wear for ridiculous photo ops? Absolutely. Horses? Obviously. It’s going to be hot, there’s a beautiful pool, and while our bikini days may be behind us, one-pieces, swimsuits with opinions, and aggressive sun hats are strongly encouraged. Eat, drink, cool off, laugh loudly, and start wedding weekend the way it should be started—together, relaxed, and slightly unhinged. Boots optional. Good vibes required!
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We’re kicking things off with a casual “meet & greet” the night before—aka your chance to say hi, scope out the vibes, and make questionable decisions before we make lifelong ones. It’ll be at a nearby dive bar (strong pours, questionable lighting, and happily cheap drinks), where our friend will be playing in his cover band—so expect at least one song you forgot existed but will absolutely scream-sing. A couple of notes so we stay friends: Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar Absolutely no pressure to come—this is just for anyone who wants to hang before the big day Everyone’s welcome—no invite politics, just good people and good chaos Details are coming… we like to keep a little mystery in the relationship Come hang if you want, skip it if you don’t—we’ll see you either way for the main event.
4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
Tropical Semi Formal
Because Malibu, the ocean, and traffic all have opinions… Due to Los Angeles County guidelines and limited allowed capacity, we’re keeping the ceremony intimate. When you RSVP, you’ll see exactly where we get to celebrate together. Keep an eye on your email and texts on wedding day. If the weather, ocean, or general chaos energy shifts, we’ll share updates there. Our ceremony is on the beach. Sand is guaranteed. Shoes are optional. Bare feet are welcome and encouraged. This will be a standing ceremony lasting about 30 minutes. If standing that long isn’t comfortable, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. Transportation is provided. All guests must meet at The Conley Resort (reception venue) to board buses to the ceremony site unless you prefer to drive. Buses leave promptly at 2:30 PM. We love you, but we will not wait. The ceremony site is about 50 minutes from the reception—perfect time to hydrate, snack, and warm up your karaoke voice.
6:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Wedding Reception Open House
Our ceremony will be a small, intimate gathering along the Malibu coast. Then… we party. Please join us for an open-house style reception. Come as you are, arrive when you’d like, stay as long as you want, catch the sunset, turn the music up, and settle in for a night that may escalate quickly. We’ll be serving a “tour around the world” of culinary street food stations (not a buffet, not a sit-down dinner — roam freely and follow your cravings). Bring your dancing shoes. Or don’t. Comfort and full commitment to the vibe are encouraged. As the night unfolds, an impromptu karaoke session may break out, adults-only swimming could occur, and late-night In-N-Out may spontaneously appear. This is your official notice. No one is safe. We plan to party until the cops come. (Kidding. Mostly. Please don’t narc.)
