OR Tambo Johannesburg international airport. Before the 17th, We will be in the home town -Pretoria.
The Bachelor party will take place on October 12th. Feel free to fly in a few days prior to settle and deal with jet lag as it tends to be very bad, because you have to move your sleeping schedule 6 hours ahead. I suggest going to bed around 8pm the week prior leading up to the trip. It will help significantly Jeremy and I do get Jet-lag IVs the day we land or day after we land. It does help a lot. Let me know if you're interested in a Jet Lag IVs. We will coordinate. Look for flights around the 8th- 10th October depending on your schedules to be here for the Bachelor on the 12th
We are excited to accommodate our international guests! If you plan to arrive early and explore South Africa, we're arranging multiple-room houses. If you're interested in sharing an Airbnb, please let us know. Alternatively, if you prefer a hotel, kindly inform us, and we'll provide options. We'll include both hotel and Airbnb choices for your convenience. Your comfort is our priority. I will also be adding some hotels, guesthouse etc. options in the accommodation section for Pretoria
Flee free to check all flights available to Johannesburg as there are plenty of options depending on your preferences and budgets. I recommend looking 5-7 months prior and keeping an eye on prices. I use the Skyscanner or skiplagged apps to check flight prices. You could book directly through the apps, but I prefer booking directly through airlines in case I need to make changes to my trip later on. Its easier to deal directly with airlines than to deal with a third party. Ticket prices varies around $800-$2000, so if you find a flight around $800, Book it! esp if its United as a straight flight is always better. Feel free to reach out to one another to coordinate flights so y'all can fly together. United - My first choice, because it's a straight flight from NYC to Joburg. Delta - Layover in Atlanta and then straight to Johannesburg Emirates - Layover in Dubai KLM - Layover in Amsterdam Turkish Airlines - Layover in Istanbul Kenya Airways - Layover in Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta (New flight route. not to bad) Ethiopian Airlines - Layover in Lome Qatar Airways - Layover in Hamad international Virgin Atlantic - Layover in London Heathrow
As this is a resort, you'll likely spend your days in swimsuits and flip-flops. Feel free to pack a jacket or hoodie with some jeans for the evenings, as we'll be enjoying them outdoors by the grill and bonfire. But, most importantly, don't forget to bring your wedding outfit.
Absolutely, if self-catering isn't your preference, there's a convenient restaurant on-site. You'll find a small grocer offering essential items, delightful poolside food stands, and, of course, a tempting selection of ice cream. Moreover, there's a bar on the premises to meet your beverage needs.
