Getting Around

Shuttles/Cars: Taos is beautifully off the grid - aka no Ubers! If you are staying at the Taos Ski Valley, you will not need a car and we suggest booking a shuttle from your airport of arrival. Staying outside of the Ski Valley, we highly recommend a car rental. · Rental Cars: Make sure to reserve your car in advance. ABQ has more rental companies on site than Santa Fe. · Shuttles: Make sure to reserve your shuttle in advance. Taos Ski Valley Transportation provides daily year-round service to Taos, Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports. Flight Options

We fly into ABQ and drive. Santa Fe is slightly closer but flight options are limited. Taos recently opened a regional airport for the Ski Valley if you have a mind for adventure! Taos is located in Northern New Mexico nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Taos is 70 miles (1.5 hours) north of Santa Fe, 135 (2.5 hours) miles north of Albuquerque. Airport Options: · Albuquerque International Sunport: Home to 7 major airlines and offers nonstop flights to 24 major cities. · Santa Fe Airport: Services 2 airlines with daily flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and Phoenix. · Taos Regional Airport: Services private and charter aircrafts. · Denver International Airport: 4.75 hours north of Taos.
