Taos Pueblo
The Taos Pueblo has been occupied for over 1,000 years by Native Americans who continue to live and practice on the land. While this area is undoubtedly historical, it is also deeply spiritual. If you visit, please be respectful of both the past and active customs of those who have lived and worshiped here. Tours run all day, on roughly the half hour mark, and are led by those persons from the tribe.
Taos Mesa Brewing
Right on the Mesa, TMB is great after the slopes or for music late night.
Rio Grande Gorge Bridge
This is a beautiful vista and gets you to drive out into the Mesa which is one of Jenny & Tom's favorite locations. Let us know if you are interested in hiking down to hidden hot springs and we will gladly share directions!
The Greater World Earthship Community
Earthships are dwellings made from all past used materials and are built into the Earth and supported by it. Completely off the grid these homes are works of art and environmentally conscious.
