We're Getting Married!

Alana and Stephen met at a USC accounting recruiting event, where Alana unsuccessfully tried to recruit Stephen for her firm. She thought he looked great in a suit; he thought her smile was unforgettable. After months of accounting classes together and a school trip to China, Stephen finally convinced Alana that they should give a relationship a chance. Two weeks later, they graduated, and their love story truly began!

Alana grew up spending summers in Anchorage, Kentucky. When they started dating, Stephen met the "Kentucky Family" and joined in on the small-town Fourth of July picnics by the gazebo. Three years of dating, and three Julys in Kentucky were filled with plenty of bourbon, evenings on the porch swing, and walks along the local Anchorage Trail. Like every year, Alana wanted to walk the Anchorage Trail one morning before the summer sun got too hot. Stephen and Alana walked the path for a while before stopping in a clearing marked by a large compass. They talked a bit, then Alana turned around to take some pictures of deer hiding in the grass. When she turned back around, Stephen was down on one knee! Alana screamed, shouted "YES," and barely let Stephen finish his sentence. They were engaged!
