Jen and Dave met through friends in the Summer of 2017 with no clue of what their future had in store together. After months of hanging out as friends, what was thought to be a platonic relationship bloomed into something more. They spent most of their time exploring DC together, which was easy since they only lived 3 minutes apart. On April 7th, Dave finally kissed Jen and the rest is history!

One year after their first official date, Dave proposed to Jen! He somehow managed to hide the huge ring box in his pocket the entire morning-- through coffee, church, and lunch. He popped the question at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC and then surprised her with a mini engagement gathering which included both of their immediate families!
