Stroll through the beautiful Rice University campus where Liz spent 10 years of her education! After grabbing a beer at Valhalla, we highly recommend you go see the James Turrell Skyspace installation at sunset.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
The hotel block options are all in downtown Houston, so don't forget to stop by Flying Saucer and grab a cold one! They have a great craft beer list and an outdoor patio. You will find many selections from Kyle's beer distribution company, Flood Distribution.
POST Houston
Houston's newest architectural wonder and home of many culinary delights, housed in the old Downtown Post Office!
Discovery Green
This is a great option for those staying Downtown. Discovery Green is a 12 acre park with lots of activities (many kid friendly) and an events calendar.
The Menil Collection
One of our favorite museums in Houston, nestled in Montrose in front of a park, and with FREE admission
Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern
Buffalo Bayou Park is a great place to take a stroll, a run, or to bike (there are rentals for cheap!) on a nice sunny day. Make sure to stop by the installation at the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern, it's fast and quite beautiful.

A lush, tropical, apocalyptic refuge for the international recluse, owned by our one and only grooms-woman, Lindsay! Get a henny colada, or five. Plenty of shaded outdoor space to distance!
