A strapping young beer salesman with his whole life ahead of him. A brilliant PhD student in the midst of her academic chrysalis; charming, but tragically unavailable. She, a bar manager. He, eager to peddle his wares. This would mark the beginning of a 4 year friendship rife with serendipitous encounters in their mutually loved world of craft beer.
The year is 2015. Having been together a mere month, their love was to be put to the ultimate test: half a continent between them. But despite the promise of a brave new life in the Bay Area for Liz, and Kyle's immersion in a bohemian existence in Austin, they remained true to each other. They lived (and indeed, slept) next to their computer monitors in perpetual video chat. One year and a small fortune in airfare later, they were reunited. Two lovers navigated the Japanese countryside to find themselves on the shore of placid lake Ashi, located in the shadow of Mt. Fuji. Underneath the vermilion archway, and with a crowd of Japanese tourists giggling with delight, Kyle proposed -- locking it down for the rest of time and eternity.

We can't wait to celebrate with you next year on April 23, 2022!
