Our story begins in 2008 when An saw Kristine with a friend at their church’s festival fundraiser. He asked her to join him on the rides and impressed her with several booth prizes (after many attempts). We continued to hold late-night AIM conversations and sneaked off to see each other on the weekends. We eventually made things official on November 1, 2008. We spent the next decade growing up together, becoming best friends, and supporting one another through all the joyous and awful moments of our adolescence. With each obstacle and hardship, we got through it stronger and learned to appreciate each other as teammates for life. After some not-so-subtle hinting, An proposed on November 1, 2019 over a romantic 3-course meal he prepared. We held a small traditional engagement ceremony on September 5, 2020 with our families. Now we’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you and for the future. Kristine is wrapping up school and plans to begin her residency right after the honeymoon. An is finishing his MBA and hopes to eventually start his own business. Most importantly, after more than 12 years of long distance, we will reside in the same city and build a home together as husband and wife!
