Does everyone who attend the wedding have to be fully vaccinated?

Answer

Sadly, yes. We never thought we'd be planning our marriage during a worldwide pandemic. We've had a million disappointments, and this may be the most disappointing of all. We invited you because we want you by our side at our wedding, but your and every other guests health and safety is one of our top priorities. Therefore, we respectfully ask that all our guests be fully-vaccinated before joining us on September 26th. Thanks for understanding!

Yes! The Barn offers ample parking on site.

Where can I book a hotel?

Answer

For those of you who may be traveling from out of state can check out our travel page for hotel accommodations! We have provided a hotel link for Comfort Inn and Suites with a direct link to get the group discount! Free breakfast is provided to hotel guests.

How far is the hotel from the wedding venue?

It is only 5 minutes away!

Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we love all the children in our lives, unfortunately, at this time we cannot accommodate children at our wedding. We hope you see this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy a date!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, to a button-down and tie with slacks. We have all had a year of PJs, leggings/sweatshirts, and with nowhere to go. Please use this time to have some fun and get dressed up!

Is the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes, both will be held at the Barn at Wight Farm!

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:30 am in the Alpheus Wight Room.

Do you have a registry or cash fund?

Answer

While your presence is gift enough, we bought a home this past year and it needs a fence! Anything towards this goal would be greatly appreciated. We also have included a registry with some items to help make our house feel like home.

Just For Fun: Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Answer

This is to be decided! We are hoping for either Italy or Hawaii in the spring of 2022, pending Covid-19 restrictions. Stay tuned to see where we decide! For now, we will have a minimoon this September in Newport, RI!
