I am loving witnessing this chapter of her life. I am honored to be by her side the day that she marries the love of her life.

For the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to call Kay my sister. She’s been a constant in my life for so long and I am so thankful to be a part of this next chapter of her life. She is such a strong woman of God and I am so excited to witness Van and her become one and continue reaching so many others by their faithfulness to God.

I met KG, Kaytlyn, AKA Sweets, back in 2014 with a shared love for App & track and field where we became college roommates & teammates. From there, our lives were intertwined as God intended & even when it seemed like our friendship encountered a gap, nothing could come between what was formed from the very beginning. No matter what, she has always been solid, super ambitious, a go getter and a great photo editor IYKYK, LOL. Even though she left App a few years later (I was so heartbroken y’all because how could you leave me up here on this mountain ) and went to USF, we look back and laugh at the beauty of that transition because she would have never met VAN THE MAN! GOD KNEW — Now we here, and it’s UP watching my girl live out the days she prayed for not just for herself but others. She stood by me when I married the love of my life, and I cannot wait to do the same for her. #turnHERturner

Kay and I met at USF in 2019. Mutual friends brought us together but love , kindness, growth and grace has kept us together . Kay has been a mentor and as close to an older sister as one could ask for. Despite our distance our friendship remains just as great as day one! (I live in Tampa!)

Kay and I met when I recruited her to be a social media influencer for an art exhibition I was working on. we instantly connected and quickly became best friends - how could you not love kay?! Our friendship consists of texting every minor inconvenience in our life to each other & talking about fashion, our similar jobs (more so complaining about them), our curls, people saying we look alike even though we don’t, and health & life goals. most importantly, she’s become my sister in Christ and I’m so grateful for the ways we’ve been able to support each other spiritually & grow together in all aspects of life. I feel like God put us in each other’s lives because He knew we both needed that and a friend you know will hold you accountable. That is why I couldn’t be more than happy to be alongside her in her marriage journey! seeing her and vans love begin and blossom into a beautiful union has been an honor - these are two humans who give their love in such special ways to other & deserve to find that in the special way they have in each other.

Kaytlyn and I have been bestie cousins since middle school when we were performing dances for our families (check us out on YouTube) we are the unofficial cheetah girls, and you can’t tell us any different. we have been through A LOT , not being able to go to Carowinds, putting Daxton in the sink as a baby and getting in trouble and even having to use coins to pay for our dinner at Donato’s pizza (we were the least favorites. ask Malia and AG) We got promoted to bestie cousin roommates and i was there from the beginning of Kay and Van and was the best third wheel EVER and still am. The struggle brought us together and I wouldn’t change a thing. ‘Baby Curlz’ and ‘Wanna Flip’ for ETERNITY. My girl is the definition of ride or die.

I’ve known KG since 7th grade. It was my first year attending CCS when I met her on the basketball court. KG & and basketball, what a time! Anyways, since that moment, we have been locked in for life in the Charlotte crew. KG's selflessness, always putting others first, is what I adore most about her. I’m probably one of the few that still calls KG KG haha. Been knowing her since middle school at CCS where we played basketball together, ran track together (TRACK NATIONNNNN ! @kg_trackislife) and even had math class together. We have developed a lasting friendship since high school. During COVID-19, we started a group Bible study called “Soul Bible Study” and she is truly my soul sister in Christ. I am beyond happy for “sweets” to be married to the love of her life and can’t wait to witness her union!

I first met Kaytlyn (then KG…soon to be KT) in 10th grade…at good ol CCS. Our friendship then, was a simple one rooted in laughter, corn casserole and many early morning carpools to school listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. One with Daxton (in his rear facing car seat) and I staring at each other in the backseat while her and her dad had a spirited conversation about her time on the basketball team at CCS. Lol you truly just had to be there for that! Our friendship has now evolved and changed over time to quarterly hangouts and the sending of random pictures from high school about the “glory days”, reminiscing on when things were so simple. While we both have changed in many ways since high school, Kaytlyn has remained the same in that she is always there to listen and always there as the person that anyone can call/count on…..that and her unwavering, longstanding love of sweets. All in all, I am so very grateful to be still calling her my bestie after many (12 now but who’s counting) years. Kaytlyn has always dreamed and talked about being married and I am so happy that the day has finally come where she can live out this dream!
