Chrysler Museum of Art
Visit the Chrysler Museum of Art, just across the bridge from where Will works! Museum admission is FREE. We recommend starting off with the noon glass blowing demonstration in the glass studio, then a walk through the first floor glass exhibit in the main museum building. Glass Studio is located at 745 Duke St, Norfolk, VA 23510
Handsome Biscuit
If you are visiting from out of town, you HAVE to stop at Handsome Biscuit. We promise it's worth the wait for this sweet potato biscuit goodness. Handsome Biscuit is one of Christen and Will's favorite date spots!
CURE Coffeehouse and Brasserie
Swing by Will's workplace for the best coffee in Norfolk. We recommend ordering a latte and avocado toast (add an egg on top!) Fun fact. Christen and her brother Charlie lived in the Botetourt building directly across from Cure. One day, Christen saw Will through the glass in Cure as she was walking out of her building. Shortly after, they met up for coffee, and have been together ever since!
Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin
Visit the Battleship Wisconsin and Nauticus nautical and science museum. You can tour the battleship or just take a stroll along Waterside and pass it on your way.
Virginia Aquarium And Marine Science Center
The Virginia Aquarium is about 30 minutes from the wedding site. Christen's favorite part is the tank tunnel.
First Landing State Park
We LOVE First Landing State Park! It's beautiful and rests along the Chesapeake Bay. We recommend entering the park at the 64th Street entrance in Virginia Beach and taking the road allllll the way to the end. Once you park, take the Cape Henry Trail and hike alongside the beautiful Spanish moss.
Topgolf
A fun activity for families in town. It's like bowling except golf! Great food and fun atmosphere for all ages.
Regent University
Take a stroll through Christen's alma mater, Regent University. Stop by Cafe Moka in the Student Center, it's one of Christen and Will's favorite coffee shops.
Waterside District
Drinks, sushi, wine, fudge. Great spot for bar hopping. Start here and make your way down Granby Street.
Virginia Zoological Park
Hang out with some animal friends!
