Question

Is there a fee to enter Zion National Park?

Answer

Yes, there are several options. For $35, private vehicles with up to 15 guests may enter with a 7 day pass. For $20, Individuals may enter park on foot or bicycle with a 7 day pass. Other Available passes: Inter-agency (We by one of these every year). This pass allows admission to every Federal fee area (National Parks, forests, etc.) for one year for $80. Zion Annual Pass: $70. Military Annual Pass: Free. Active duty military only. Senior Annual Pass: $20, 62+, Zion only. Lifetime Senior Pass: $80. If you are over 62 yrs of age, I highly suggest this pass. Bryce, Arches, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Channel Islands, the list goes on and on. If the entrance fees are problematic, contact Liz or Rob. We will ensure entrance to the park.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in separate locations?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony is inside Zion National Park located at the South Campground Amphitheater. We chose this location for it's ease of access. Most places allowing weddings in the park require shuttle service. Not only do you not need a shuttle to the amphitheater, there is parking along with handicap parking right in front of the ceremony location. The drive is just minutes from entering the park and about 40 minutes from the reception location. Not to worry, it's a spectacularly gorgeous drive.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, and also no. If you are related to us, then yes, bring the children. We have a very limited number of people allowed at this reception. We want to invite as many friends as possible. However, if you can't come without the kids, we are considering a babysitting service during the ceremony and reception. The ranch has a playground are suitable for small children. This is case by case, so please, contact us ahead of time and we'll make things work out. we'd rather have you join us than not!

Question

Why Zion?

Answer

Rob and I spent much of our time together exploring this phenomenal, magical place. I (Liz) remember my first time visiting Zion very vividly. It was early 2015. I had begun my adventures in canyoneering in SoCal and Arizona. My friend Gwen and I went together. We didn’t realize it at the moment, but we had a week filed with the most iconic canyons in Zion. Keyhole (at night), Subway, Pine Creek and Mystery. That weekend was so special. It solidified my obsession with the red sandstone outdoors that is South Eastern Utah. My happy place. And soon to be the spot where my best friend and I announce to our closest family and friends that we chose each other out of true love to spend it all, together, always.
