IG and MP - quite the controversy. Our story didn't begin in high school when we were rivals. We ran into each other at Tanner's bar while tuning into a noon Packer game on September 22, 2024. (Packers v. Titans 30-14 W) I was with a group of friends after a wedding (shout out to Brody and Ashley on their big day!). Turner showed up to watch the game with a friends, too. Our two groups knew each other so we mingled a bit and then went our separate ways. Shortly after I left, Turner slid into my Instagram DMs. Neither of us could recall the last time we ran into each other and struck up conversation. For the next week, we DM'd back and forth. That Friday was Oktoberfest in New Glarus. I was living there at the time. Megan and Sarah were coming over for Madison County. I didn't reply back to Turner that evening. While Megan, Sarah, and I were out at Oktoberfest, I recognized Kane and pointed that out. Megan said that Turner was there, too. We wondered over to say hello. Now, this is where I found out later that Turner saw me first but was refusing to say hi first because I left him on read that afternoon. He wasn't too stubborn though because we ended up all hanging out that evening at Oktoberfest. By the end of the night, we had officially exchanged phone numbers and were planning our first date.
