We were set up in December of 2019 by friends who would one day stand beside us as we married. From the beginning, connection came easily. We bonded over our shared love for the outdoors, movement, dogs, music, movies, and really good food. Then the world slowed down. COVID became a fast track to truly knowing one another. In a season marked by uncertainty and isolation, we found comfort, laughter, and steadiness in each other. What began as shared interests grew into something deeper - a partnership rooted in presence, resilience, and choosing one another daily. Allison is a delight. Light-hearted with a quick wit and a beautiful sense of humor, she is an instigator at heart-always ready to stir up laughter or spark a moment of joy. She’s creative, spontaneous, and fiercely curious. An avid competitor, she finds joy in movement and challenge, whether that’s CrossFit, trail running, gravel riding, or duathlons. She’ll try just about anything once. At her core, Allison has a deeply generous soul-she keeps her people close and shows up endlessly for those she loves. Megan is one of those rare people who makes the world feel lighter just by being in it. She leads with kindness, curiosity, and selflessness-genuinely interested in people, their stories, and how she can show up for them. Megan is a bright human in every sense of the word: colorful in her personality, sharp in her mind, and thoughtful in how she moves through life. She's one the the hardest workers you'll ever meet, giving 110% to everything she commits to, no matter how big or small. Her energy spills into an active, balanced life-whether she's working out, hiking, dancing, or making sure the dogs get their daily walks. At her core, Megan is a beautiful blend of strength, compassion, and reliability-comfort and kindness all in one. Together, are deeply connected to nature and to movement-drawn to environments that allow for simplicity, challenge, and unfiltered beauty. The outdoors has always been a place where we feel most ourselves, where we grow, reflect, and intertwine our lives. If you know us, you know we’re both introverts-but we love our people deeply. If you’re reading this, you’re one of them. Each of you has shaped us in ways big and small, individually and together. We would not be who we are-or how we show up for one another-without the influence, care, and lessons you’ve shared with us along the way. Thank you doesn’t quite capture the depth of our gratitude, but we vow to honor your impact by choosing each other fully and intentionally, every day. We eloped in the Buffalo National River area near Ponca, Arkansas, at Steele Creek Campground-surrounded by towering bluffs, flowing water, our closest friends, and our dogs. As many dogs as people, just the way we like it. We exchanged private vows, gathered with our friends by the bluffs for photos, and held our ceremony along the river. It was simple, grounded, and exactly us. As part of the ceremony, we were each asked to describe the other in three words: Allison on Megan: intentional, colorful, grounded Megan on Allison: playful, intentional, affectionate—with a massive side of generous Our witnesses: - KC Cross, officiant and friend - Megan Pearson, Megan's best friend - Alyssa Richardson, Allison's best friend This is not a save-the-date or an invitation to a celebration. It’s simply our way of letting you know that we’ve tied the knot-officially. More than that, it’s a moment to honor love chosen daily, resilience earned over time, and the people who have shaped our journey. We wanted to share who we are as a pair, how we move through the world, and the places and values that ground us. Thank you for being part of our story. This is us, inviting you into something sacred and deeply loved. *for Gallery, a list of Our Go-To Places, Registry, and FAQs, click the menu at the top right!
