Question

When and where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Ceremony and reception will take place on October 3, 2026 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We ask that everyone be in their seats by 3:50pm at the latest. If you are tardy, you will not be permitted to join for the ceremony. You will be directed to our cocktail hour location and will have to wait until the ceremony is over before joining the occasion. The venue name and address is 9 Oaks Farm, 2425 GA-83 Gate#1, Monroe, Georgia 30655.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will take place just outside of the venue on the back side of the building. The reception will be inside the barn, but you are more than welcome to step outside at any time. If you are a smoker, there will be pots out front for you to place cigarette butts. Please do not throw them out onto the property. Thank you for understanding.

What is the dress code for wedding day?

Answer

This is a formal event on a farm, so we please ask that everyone show up looking their absolute best but also be comfortable! With that being said, the dress code is formal/semi-formal. Thank you for understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 3, 2026 so we can get a proper headcount for our venue and caterers. Those who do not RSVP by the deadline will not be welcomed onto the property. There is an "RSVP" tab located at the top of the website. Enter your first and last name to find your invite. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a wonderful photographer that we trust to capture the best moments of our big day. We kindly ask this to be an unplugged ceremony and to refrain from using your cellphone during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many pictures and videos AFTER the ceremony has ended.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue and resources are very limited based on space and budgeting expenses. Unless your partner is specified on your invitation, plus ones are NOT permitted. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only occasion. Unless specified by Katie or Michael, we ask that you make the appropriate arrangements ahead of time. We hope you can take this as an opportunity to enjoy yourselves and we appreciate the understanding.

Where can I park?

Answer

The venue provides a decently sized gravel parking lot right on the property. If it is possible for you to carpool with another invited guest, we strongly recommend doing so.

Are we registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at places such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart. There is a "Registry" tab located at the top of the website where you can find our registries.
