Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 7th, 2026.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, White's Ferry Manor has a large free parking lot at the entrance. The main hall is a short 5-min walk through a windy paved path, but attendants will be available with golf carts if you would like to ride there! :)

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the path from the parking to the hall and entrances are all paved with no major stairs.

Question

Which events am I invited to?

Answer

Please visit the RSVP section of our website. Enter your first and last name. The events you are invited to will be listed.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation and the RSVP section of the wedding website for invited guests.

Question

Where should we bring/send a wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is enough of a gift to us! But if you so choose, please visit the Registry page of our website. We request no boxed gifts please.

Question

Are either of you changing your last name?

Answer

As much as we've considered Shriv-Sharm or Sharmastava, no, we're both keeping our given names. Please address all future correspondence to Ms. Tulsi Shrivastava and Mr. Rahul Sharma.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The baraat and cocktail hour will be in the outdoor area. Main ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Question

What do I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony and lunch, we kindly ask all guests to step out of the main hall while it is prepared for the evening reception. During this time, you’re welcome to visit the White’s Ferry Brewery on the property or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the beautiful grounds. However, we also strongly encourage you to take this opportunity to rest and recharge—especially as it may be a warm day. If you’d like to explore, there are nearby options such as Leesburg Premium Outlets and Leesburg Historic District. There are also many convenient hotel options nearby. Some guests may choose to change outfits for the evening, but this is entirely optional. Please feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Indian attire is entirely optional. Be comfortable :) For women, if you prefer Indian dress -- a lehenga, saree, sharara, gharara or any other formal suit will be perfect. Bright colors are encouraged! Colors to avoid: red and white. For men, we suggest suit & tie, tuxedo, or Indian Formal. (How easy they have it! 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Question

What is weather typically like at the venue this time of year?

Answer

We're expected the August Virginia weather to be in the 80's that day. We will be sure to arrange for appropriate hydration and indoor cooling. Our events are indoors, so we are covered in case of rain.
