Believe it or not, we actually met a year before we really met—proof that timing truly is everything. Fast forward a year, I went to visit a friend for the weekend, and somehow Nick and I ended up spending the next three days together nonstop. He was working nights and we hung out during those days. The very next week, we found ourselves at a pumpkin patch, and from there… the rest is history. We knew right away we had found "our person."

The proposal was perfectly us...a little chaotic, completely unexpected, and entirely unforgettable. We were on a family vacation in Florida and my mom had scheduled sunset family photos. We had just arrived to the beach when my mom suddenly shouts, “Dolphin!” (which, unbeknownst to me, was the photographer's and Nick’s cue). Mom had jumped the gun with her excitement and caught both Nick and the photographer off guard. Being the firstborn and fully committed to our strict 20-minute photo window, I immediately yelled “MOM!" (in my best annoyed voice)... I had no idea what was really happening. When I turned around, there was Nick on one knee. I burst out laughing before I could even say yes—I truly did not see it coming. We hugged, laughed and toasted our future. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
