Believe it or not, we actually met through a mutual friend — though at the time, we didn’t even realize it! Chelsea’s college friend happened to work with Brandon at 11Alive. On a whim, Chelsea was dragged to a New Year’s Eve party last minute, and that’s where her friend introduced her to Brandon. Throughout the night, they kept finding ways to have side conversations, and by the end of the evening, they had talked the entire night. Brandon walked Chelsea to her car… and then they didn’t see each other again until May! Even though they hadn’t spoken from January to May, the moment they reunited, it was like no time had passed. They were drawn to each other immediately, laughing and talking as if they’d known each other forever. Chelsea later extended an invite to her birthday celebration, and they went on their first official date a few days before — and from that very first day, they never stopped talking. Soon, they were seeing each other every day or every other day, and the rest, as they say, is history.
