How do I get to and from the island?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles will be available to take guests from Bonnie Castle Resort (31 Holland St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607) to Chippewa Bay docks and boats will be ready to transport guest from the docks to Manzanita Island. Shuttle information is posted on the Schedule page for each event!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. We will provide light blankets just in case it is cold!

Your invitation will indicate if you can bring a plus one.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel tab for hotel recommendations. There are several listed, but if you'd rather find an Airbnb or VRBO, please feel free to do so.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a "River Fun Day" on the Saturday before the wedding. Think swimming, yard games, watching Clemson beat UGA, good drinks, good food and laughs. Dress code is casual. Pack a sweatshirt as it gets cold at night.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, due to the nature of the location for the wedding and party on Saturday, we request that kids stay at home. Let grandma and grandpa watch them!
