FAQsFAQs

Question

Can I have a plus one?Can I have a plus one?

Answer

We would love to accommodate everyone's plus ones! Unfortunately, due to the venue having limited space, we won't know until we get our RSVPs back if we can accommodate for more guests. If you reach out the month of, we ~might~ be able to squeeze more people in!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding? Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We unfortunately can't invite all of our guests children to our wedding as we have limited space at the venue. Unless your child’s name is listed on your invitation, or is under 1 years old, we cannot accommodate for them unfortunately. We appreciate your understanding! If you would like to bring a child under 1 year old that is not listed on your invite, that is totally fine! We just aren’t able to provide all of them seats and a full plate.

Question

I'm not Catholic, what should I expect at the Nuptial Mass?I'm not Catholic, what should I expect at the Nuptial Mass?

Answer

Well first, we're so glad you're coming! Thank you for being here to celebrate us. The first half of the Nuptial Mass includes the Liturgy of the Word: three readings from the Bible, a homily from the priest, and then the vows. The second half of the mass is the Liturgy of the Eucharist; this is where Jesus's sacrifice of Himself on the Cross is renewed again. As Catholics, we believe that the Holy Eucharist is truly the Body of Jesus Christ. In this second half of the mass, the prayers said with faith make Jesus present in the Eucharist. The faithful then receive Him, or cross their arms over their chest to receive a blessing; remaining in the pew is also an option if you are not Catholic. The couple then brings flowers to Mary, to honor her as the mother of Jesus and the mother of the Church. Next, the mass is ended and we're married!
