Spearfish Canyon
A favorite destination of Taylor's. Spearfish Canyon is a 20-mile stretch of scenic highway between Spearfish and Cheyenne Crossing. The canyon is full of wildlife, foliage, and several waterfalls including Bridal Veil Falls, Roughlock Falls, Devil's Bathtub, and Spearfish Falls.
Deadwood Tobacco Co. and Cigar Bar
If you're into cigars, this is a must-stop, according to Cade! On Main St., Deadwood, DTC offers several cigars, tobacco products, and merch. They also have live bands most weekends.
Pactola Reservoir
One of the prettiest lakes in SD, in our opinion. Pactola Reservoir is a 45-minute drive from Lead-Deadwood, but is worth the drive! It is surrounded by hills and has some of the clearest water. It also has pontoons to rent for the day.
Historic Deadwood
Minutes from the Terry Peak Chalets and located in the Black Hills National Forest, Deadwood is a historic mining town where you can play all day and all night. There are plenty of outdoor adventures, hikes, mountain bike rides and ATV trails around the area. Then if you want to try your luck, hit up the many bars and casinos the town has to offer.
Black Hills Bagels
In true East vs West River fashion, Cade and Taylor often debate which place has the best local bagel shop, Bagel Boy or Black Hills Bagels. If you’re passing through Rapid City, we highly recommend stopping at Black Hills Bagels. That way you can try the better of the two options (according to Taylor (aka the right choice)).
